FXTM Invest Overview

FXTM Invest was launched in 2011 together with the FXTM brokerage. The company was founded by the Russian entrepreneur Andrey Dashin, who is also behind another big financial brand Alpari. Since June 2020, both companies have become part of Exinity Group, Dashins’ new venture that comprises various retail businesses.

They are registered with headquarters in Cyprus, and it has offices in other countries.

They offer two types of accounts – as an Investor and as a Strategy Manager.

The Investor account aims to attract individuals who still see the trading world as terra incognita. It offers them opportunities to create a profile, open an account, monitor the trading strategy provided, get engaged in discussion or ask questions and, of course, copy the selected strategies.

Opening an Investment account takes a few steps, and once it is completed, the members are invited to open a myFXCM account. What is different from other social and copy trading platform is this account is not an MT4 trading account.

FXTM Invest Selecting Strategy Manager Review

Your most important task is to select signal providers that will cover best your trading goals as an investor. They are quite thorough at this by providing detailed information on each listed Strategy Manager.

This data includes their overall return, weekly return, max drawdown, risk level and the profit share in percentage. Their strategies also have a star rating, and you can also order them based on these criteria.

FXTM Invest enables investors to engage in online chats with the Strategy Managers and receive additional information.

Once you add strategies to your account, they will be automatically copied by the FXTM Invest system. You can also monitor the process in real-time. If the strategy’s performance is successful, 10% of your profit will be deducted for the strategy manager’s benefit.

Overall, the copy trading process offers simplicity and intuitive use. However, as an Investor, you should have some knowledge and understanding of trading, even the basics, to select the correct Strategy Manager for you. The process of registration is similar to the one for the Investor. First, you need to verify your data – name, email address etc. After this part is complete, you need to open an account with FXTM. You can select between ECN or ECN Zero account and deposit a minimum of 200 USD (for Investors, this sum is only 10 USD).

Once your account is fully completed, you can start listing strategies. The system allows you to set more than one strategy, but you are limited with the trading instruments.

Strategy Managers only have access to forex trading pairs, metals, and Index CFDs, not company shares or cryptocurrencies. Considering the popularity of the crypto market lately, this might be bad news for some. Your earnings are commission-based, and you can earn up to 50% on trades.
